Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, LLC was founded on July 13th, 2016 as a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sick or injured wild birds.
Their mission statement: To rescue, treat, and rehabilitate sick and injured wild birds with the goal of releasing them back into their native habitat in the wild.
To educate the general public about Florida's native wild bird population, and how to prevent and reduce the man-made dangers that wild birds face everyday.
This amazing facility is one of the first places I visited when I relocated to the area and it is still one of my favorite day trips! The birds are beautiful, the people are courageously dedicated and the learning experience is priceless!
